The bending radius R of a pipe elbow is the radius of curvature corresponding to the center line of this elbow. It is generally determined as a multiple of the pipe diameter. For example: hot-pressed elbows are generally bent one to two times, and hot-simmered elbows are generally bent three to four times.
The turning radius is different with different structural lengths. The larger the bending radius of the elbow, the longer its arc length, the higher the cost of the elbow with the same angle, but the corresponding hydraulic conditions are better.
