uPVC pipe is manufactured using sanitary polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin as its primary raw material. This resin undergoes extrusion molding via a plastic extruder, with the addition of appropriate stabilizers, lubricants, fillers, color enhancers, and other additives. The production process includes cooling, curing, shaping, inspection, and packaging, resulting in the completion of the pipe.
uPVC is known for its resistance to acids, alkalis, corrosion, and various chemicals, making it a preferred choice for piping in many chemical plants. The joints of uPVC pipes typically utilize a spigot and socket bonding method. The standard procedure involves first identifying the mounting point and marking it. Then, a layer of adhesive is applied to the bonding surface of the pipe and connector. Subsequently, the socket is inserted into the bellmouth, and axial force, applied using tools like a mallet, ensures a secure connection in the direction of the bellmouth.
